350 homes and 11-storey block coming to Victoria Way in Charlton?

With all eyes on the emerging Charlton masterplan for around 5000 homes another development in the town has come to light. This time on Victoria Way which is located outside the masterplan site.

It’s currently a warehouse unit and this development is long expected. A neighbouring warehouse site became residential a couple of years ago after initially being refused. That site saw 200 homes built.

The planning reference for the screening opinion submitted is 17/0228/EIA, and it describes the plans as “a residential development scheme consisting of the construction of buildings of up to 11-storeys comprising 350 residential units, car parking and amenity spaces”.

Fairview Homes are behind the screening opinion.
