Trains on Woolwich line from central London cancelled or diverted tonight

Eek. On a day when fares rise 3.1% and I covered how Southeastern will be providing less capacity at the end of this year than at the start thanks to trains failing to pass disability rules comes news that a signal fault has meant most trains diverted or cancelled from central London towards Dartford on the Woolwich line.

Thameslink and Southeastern are diverting on other lines. The fault appeared five hours ago, was fixed and is now back.

Happy new year.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
