Plans in for 341 homes in Charlton at Synergy development

A site at 40 Victoria Way looks set to see 341 homes as plans are submitted for redevelopment of industrial units. Fairview are the developers behind the plan, with Formation the architects.

Fairview built the new development immediately to the west of the site a couple of years ago.

This new development sees a connection to Dupree Road to aid permeability through the site. It’s pedestrian only. “Affordable” housing is 35%, and there are car parking spaces for 40% of homes. That’s 144 parking spaces.

The buildings top out at 10-storeys beside the railways tracks, and range from 3 to 5 stories along Victoria Way.

This site is not part of the Charlton Riverside masterplan, which foresees 7,500 homes to the north closer to the Thames.

The planning reference is 17/1795/F

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
