Man flown by air ambulance to Major Trauma Centre after Deptford stabbing
I don’t normally cover crime too closely on this blog but the incidence of violent crime in London has increased lately and another example has been seen tonight.
Don't know what happened here but cordon off by the police, police cars' van everywhere, along creek road , greenwich…. tried to go round it, no way cordon everywhere ;( pic.twitter.com/jPgiDqzrVB

The incident occurred earlier this evening. Met Police have confirmed a 23 year old man was found with multiple stab wounds and was taken by air ambulance to a major trauma centre – which is normally King’s College at Denmark Hill or the Royal London in Whitechapel.
Last week a shooting occurred in Greenwich and the rate of violent crime rose sharply last year.
The rise is knife crime is certainly a cause for concern, but the people commiting these attacks have no regard for human life and cannot be reached on any level. They also terrorise their own family who dare not act against them.
