19 room HMO plan at former Woolwich pub

Plans have been submitted to create a 19-room HMO (Home of Multiple Occupation) at a former pub in Woolwich.

The Clancy’s pub on Warspite Road cloased a number of years ago and recently saw draft plans to flatten and build a tower on site, as covered here. That now seems to have been abandoned. It also went by the names Lord Howick and Million Hare.

It currently has HMO flats above the former pub space. This plan would see HMOs on the ground floor pub space alongside a lettings agency.

Another former pub nearby did have planning approval granted for a tower on site. This is how the Albion site tower should appear in future:

The planning reference is 18/1599/F
