Building site collapse in Woolwich

A building site in Woolwich has seen a partial collapse in recent hours. Emergency services are on scene. Wooden beams and scaffolding appear to have fallen.

The site is on Brookhill Road near Nightingale Place. The site was home to 1970s armed forces housing before seeing current redevelopment.

It’s believe there are no injuries.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
