Stabbing by New Eltham station

A stabbing has occurred tonight around New Eltham Station. It’s believed to have occurred near the London-bound platform and Kebab shop.

Police were still arriving on scene when I passed around five minutes ago (11:20pm) and it seems a very recent incident. The police stated a stabbing had occurred.

The station is tapped off in parts and sniffer dogs are searching the area.

UPDATE: I returned to the area and there’s little evidence now of last night’s events.

Police confirmed a man aged 41 was stabbed at 22:39. His condition is not life threatening. Anyone with information is asked to call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 678 of 28/06/2018
