Greenwich bar operator fined for late night noise
The operator of a restaurant and bar on Trafalgar Road has been fined for late night noise at Bexley Magistrates’ Court after prosecution from Greenwich Borough.
The venue, City Buz’B, had a dancefloor in the basement and noise was reported by residents up to 3am.
The fine totaled £7,250 and comprised of £1,000 for each night loud music was observed plus £2150.70 in costs in addition to a £100 surcharge.
The council states:
Despite warning letters, action plans and notices issued to the premises by the Environmental Health Noise and Licensing Teams the noise problems persisted.
