Frustrated resident captures Tesco delivery lorry blocking ambulance once again

Photos have emerged of a Tesco delivery lorry parked on double yellows at a notorious spot blocking an ambulance in Northumberland Heath.

Frustrated local people claim lorries continue to stop outside the store at busy times to deliver and block traffic. Other emergency services have been blocked at the same spot during deliveries.

The supermarket is directly opposite a bus stop on a narrow road.

Some are calling for delivery hours to be restricted to quieter times in the evening. Residents also say they’ve contacted Tesco and Bexley Council regarding these ongoing issues without resolution.

  • It’s very likely that the Tesco’s is delivering to a private address, rather than the market!
