Eltham’s Vue Cinema taking shape as cladding applied

External cladding panels are now being installed at Eltham’s forthcoming Vue cinema as it moves towards completion.

Upper levels have perforated panels visible at upper levels.

Below will be restaurants and a bar. The panels look a bit drabber than renders led us to believe:

I’m also wondering if grey zinc panels will be used for the underside of the canopy. The render suggests it could be. It’s a dreary choice if so.

Once complete the cinema will have six screens and should offer a big boost to the evenings entertainment choices in Eltham, which already has an ever increasing choice of great pubs.

The cinema is expected to open in March 2019 with restaurant chains Pizza Express and Nandos taking commercial space.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks
