Cyclist dies after Deptford collision

A cyclist has been pronounced dead after a collision this morning in Deptford around 10:15am.

The accident happened around Lower Road and Evelyn Street near the one-way system by Mcdonalds. Met Police have so far only confirmed it was a man on the cycle which collided with a car.

This area is due to be part of Cycle Superhighway 4, which has taken many years to come to fruition.
