Greenwich pub Lord Hood’s demolition almost complete

The former Lord Hood pub in Greenwich is now almost entirely demolished after approval was given last year to replace with a commercial unit and flats.

The pub, next to Up the Creek comedy club on Creek Road, was supposed to have come down by July this year. It’s running a bit behind schedule yet is now almost down.

Here’s how it looked:

The former signage has been attached to demolition hoardings…

This is what will be built on the site:

Further down the street is the former Book Time shop (which had a previous life as a pub). Flats are now being built:

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here
