Smoke from Southeastern train at Lewisham causing disruption

There is disruption tonight on Southeastern after passengers saw smoke emerging from a train.

Investigations have revealed “dragging brakes” causing smoke to be seen which in turn led to the passenger alarm being pulled.

The train is now on the move but the issue has caused disruption to services this evening rush hour. Check your train times if possible.
