Man taken to hospital with head injury after attack in Bexleyheath

A man is reported to have been attacked on Oaklands Road by junction with Royal Oak Road in Bexleyheath this evening. Oaklands Road runs from near Townley Grammar School to the bowling centre on Albion Road in the town centre.

Met Police state the incident occurred around 6:50pm and found a man suffering from head injuries. Witnesses report a screwdriver lying in the road after.




He has been taken to a south London hospital and police await information on his condition.

No arrests have been made. If you saw or know anything you can call police on 101 to report information.
