Southeastern train fire at Mottingham
A fire started on a Southeastern train this evening round Mottingham station.
It’s believed the fire started in a toilet causing all passengers to leave the train at Mottingham. Vandalism is suspected.
UPDATE: Because of vandalism on at train at #Mottingham which resulted in the fire services attending, the train has sustained some damage and presently cannot move. The Sidcup Line towards London is currently blocked. More details with alternative journey options to follow.

It’s been a day of train related incidents. Firstly a taser was drawn by police on a man armed with a knife at Dartford station, then a Crossrail train somehow opened doors onto live running tracks this evening.
