Bexleyheath Academy deemed “inadequate” and placed in special measures

Bexleyheath Academy school has been placed into special measures by OFSTED after an inspection deemed the school inadequate.

The school is operated by Academies Enterprise Trust and is located behind Asda in Bexleyheath town centre.

Parents have been sent a letter from the academy that runs the school highlighting the issue and claiming to have a “clear plan” to address issues.

Antisocial behaviour in Bexleyheath town centre has been high in recent years with blame levied by some towards the school (and others).

Police are often needed to deal with behaviour from school children and mass fights have occurred.

Whilst there’s little new in school fights – the need for so many police has raised concern among local people.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
