Woman jumps from railway bridge in Lee

It appears a woman has sadly jumped from a railway bridge in Lee in recent minutes after threatening to do so since this morning.

Numerous emergency services vehicles are on site with the South Circular road closed and extensive congestion covering a wide area around Hither Green. TfL are encouraging people to avoid the area with buses also disrupted.

The incident is believed to have started around 7am on St Mildreds Road.
