Man taken to hospital after Hither Green incident

A man has been taken to hospital after an altercation in Hither Green this morning which has resulted in the closure of Fernbrook Road.

Police were called around 6am and the BBC report that the road is still closed.

The man is aged in his 50s and more details on his condition have yet to be released by the Met.
