Man found dead in Woolwich town centre

Parts of Woolwich have been sealed off today after a man was found dead this morning near Calderwood Street Sainsbury’s.

No explanation has yet been given for cause of death.

There had been reports this morning of areas tapped off though some had believed it was related to filming at the Town Hall. Sadly that is not the case.

If anyone has information they can contact he police on 101.
