Motorbike accident closes Eltham High Street

A crash involving a motorbike and van has closed Eltham this afternoon.

The accident occurred around 1:20pm and the air ambulance landed nearby. The motorcyclist is in critical condition.

Met police say a van was in collision with a motorbike.

The motorcyclist, aged in his 20s, has been taken to an east London hospital with life threatening injuries.

Road closures remain in place.
No arrests have been made.
