Police given dispersal powers covering Bexleyheath and Crayford

Police have been given additional powers to move on groups in an area from Bexleyheath to Crayford.

According to police “The use of Direction to Leave Notices under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Police Act 2014, has been authorised”.

It will run from 19:00 hours today – 23:59 hours. Police have not revealed exactly what the issue is that led to this action.

  • Funnily enough there were police searches of school children entering Harris Garrard Academy this morning with more planned. No idea if this includes other local schools too
