Serious collision in New Cross “between motorbike and car”

New Cross Road has been closed for the past few hours after what Lewisham Police describe as a serious collision.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area of New Cross Road and Pagnall Street as road closures are in place following a serious collision.

Buses are curtailed or diverted and have been for around over two hours now.

Witnesses report a crash between a car and motorbike or moped though that is yet to be confirmed by police.
