A “number of vehicle fires” disrupt buses in Thamesmead this morning

Transport for London have stated that a number of vehicle fires this morning have caused bus routes 301 and 472 to stop serving Nathan Way in Thamesmead.

They report “buses are not serving stops between Nathan Way and Pettman Crescent. Please allow extra time for your journey.”

At this stage it is unknown the cause of the fires. More soon.
