Blackheath collision closes road

Buses are diverted and roads closed after an accident near Blackheath Hill.

TfL stated that Blackheath Road is closed heading eastbound at the junction of Lewisham Road.

Police are directing traffic with Ambulance crews and the Fire Brigade on site.

Bus routes 53, 180 and 199 are affected.

5:30 PM UPDATE: The road has recently reopened with heavy traffic on Blackheath Hill extending across the heath.
