Buses diverted as Lewisham town centre again sees flooding

A burst water main has again hit Lewisham town centre this afternoon causing a large number of bus diversions.

According to TfL: “bus routes 47, 54, 75, 122, 136, 181, 185, 199, 208, 225, 284, 436 and P4 are diverted via Molesworth Street and Lewisham High Street. Buses will not serve the bus stop Lewisham Centre due to a burst water main.”

The town has seen a number of similar incidents in recent years. This was the scene in October:

    • No it isn’t. Thames Water have caused massive disruptions all to no avail.
