Charlton player offers signed shirt competition to help Greenwich homeless

Charlton loanee Conor Gallagher is offering a signed shirt for one person who donates to a Greenwich charity which works alongside a number of venues to offer shelter seven days a week.

Greenwich Winter Night Shelter provides “dinner, safe overnight accommodation and breakfast to homeless people over the winter months from mid-November to end March”.

One night is at Christ Church East Greenwich on Trafalgar Road

The charity offers places for up to 15 people at a different venue each night of the week.

To enter, follow Conor Gallagher on Instagram, donate to the charity and comment on his post. One person will then be selected.

Click here to view the charity’s website and help. With homeless numbers rising  the charity does fantastic work.

Conor Gallagher is on loan from Chelsea and has played for England U21s.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
