Two arrests after police operation at Eltham station
Police set up knife arches and worked alongside Southeastern staff Eltham tonight targeting weapons and people travelling without tickets.
Two arrests are reported.
They were:
“An adult Male was arrested after one of the plain clothes officers noticed a male who was wanted for breaching the terms of his community order at Woolwich Crown Court for a burglary which the officer dealt with earlier this year in Welling.”
“An adult Male who was heavily intoxicated became abusive towards officers when asked to leave the station and was arrested for being Drunk and Disorderly and later issued a fine upon release from custody.”
This is the latest in a regular series of operations across south east London stations. Woolwich has seen a number and others have occurred recently at Belvedere, Abbey Wood, Hither Green and Lewisham.
