Police issue warning after armed Sidcup robberies

Police have issued a warning after two muggings in Sidcup over the first couple of days of 2020.

In the early hours of the new year on Knoll Road, a male snatched a women’s handbag & threatened her with a weapon at 1:15am.

A separate incident occurred at Etfield Grove at 2.25am where a male threatened a male & female with a knife whilst demanding their bags.

Both streets are in close proximity and lead off Sidcup Hill. The suspect is described in both cases as a “white male, aged around 20 wearing a grey hooded top”.

If anyone has any information and could help police can be contacted on 101.
