New Erith homes could be approved tonight

Bexley Council’s Planning Committee could tonight approve plans for 25 homes on Lesney Park Road in Erith.

I first covered plans back in October 2019. Bexley Council’s BexleyCo is behind the plan.

Site plans

The site was known as Hainault Care Home until closure in 2014. Another care home is located to the rear of this site.  The site was originally a maternity hospital from 1920 to 1974.

The development would contain 25 homes and split 5 x 4 bed, 7 x 3 bed, 5 x 2 bed houses and 8 x 1 bed supported living flats at 35 – 37 Lesney Park Road.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
