16-room student extension planned on Sidcup High Street

Plans have been submitted to extend a building on Sidcup High Street to create a 16-room student block.

The extension would be to the rear of Safeguarding Plus beside Betfred. The current building already has student flats above the shop. A neighbouring building also has student flats in a former snooker club.

Designs for the extension ensure little will be visible from the High Street given the extension will be located the rear beside Morrisons car park.

A letter of support from nearby Doreen Bird College of Dance, Music & Theatre Performance is included in the application. The College has existed since 1946. Click here to see some notable alumni.
