Armed trespasser boards Peckham train: Tasered by police
Police tasered an armed trespasser who jumped on board a train in Peckham this afternoon.
The man ran along tracks before climbing onto the 12:45pm train from Beckenham Junction to London Bridge at Queens Road Peckham station.
Passengers praised the driver as some hid in the cab.
The driver of my @SouthernRailUK train to London bridge this afternoon handled the situation of a trespasser with a knife boarding the train so well! I applaud his calmness & making sure everyone was okay. He allowed a few of us to hide in his carriage as it did escalate
