Train delays on Woolwich line after “person falls on track”

There are ongoing delays across Southeastern services tonight after a passenger fell onto tracks in Charlton.

Southeastern state people can use the DLR where possible. There is already additional crowding on the lline due to the Bexleyheath line being closed this week.

The passenger is not reported to be seriously injured and is believed to have fallen between the platform and train.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

  • Power restored as of just before 1900. Guy seemingly okay.

  • Good news. Please the person seems to be okay. I wish then well for the future. The gap between platform and train is too big for some people including children the elderly and disabled. Trains to need to be more accessible for all.
