Greenwich street closures planned with Big Half marathon tomorrow

A heads up if unaware that Up to 15,000 people will take part in the Big Half marathon tomorrow that finishes in Greenwich town centre.

Some streets in Greenwich will be closed from 7am to 3pm with bus routes on diversion. Awareness is a lot lower than for the London Marathon (which admittedly covers far more ground in Greenwich borough).

Creek Road will be closed

Closures on Norman Way will be relaxed for one day.

The half marathon starts at Canary Wharf heading to Tower Bridge then passes through Bermondsey and Deptford.

Good luck to all taking part.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
