Charlton Liberal Club sold for around £500,000

Charlton’s Liberal Club has been sold by Acorn after being listed for sale at £500,000.

The club closed in October 2018 and was a popular destination for Charlton fans before a game.

As for what the future holds? Well, demolition and new housing is an obvious possibility, perhaps including a new watering hole on the ground floor. The key is to ensure it can attract people throughout the week and not only for Charlton home games.

Surrounding buildings are slightly taller so they a buyer could potentially go for three storeys in height.
