Women swim free today at Bexley borough leisure centres for International Women’s Day

All women can use facilities across all Bexley borough’s Parkwood-run leisure centres today to mark International Women’s Day.

Unfortunately though you can’t just turn up but have to first fill in this form.

Despite social media accounts stating that Centres at Crook Log, Sidcup and Erith will be “offering a one day pass to all women today for free access to swimming, the gym and classes”, in reality both pools are closed at Crook Log for an event today.

Crook Log is open until 10pm. Sidcup closes at 8pm and Erith at 8pm.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
