TfL announce the tube is to partially close from Thursday

TfL have revealed tonight that 40 London Underground stations will close from tomorrow until further notice.

In addition, the Waterloo and City line will shut completely from Friday. The full station list is below:

There will be no overnight tube or London Overground services running on Fridays and Saturdays this weekend – and probably for some time after that.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

  • I checked TfL this morning. I have to go to Paddington today and would normally use Lancaster Gate and walk from there. Fortunately, Paddington station is still open.

  • The BBC is reporting that the tube trains are more full than ever. Reducing the service has made it much worse for those people who have no alternative but to go to work because their employer cannot or will not shutdown.
