Major accident near Plumstead corner

A major accident has occurred today (Thursday 16th) at the roundabout near Plumstead corner and Wickham Lane.

It’s reported a car hit a utility worker working in the street. A heavy emergency services presence is on scene including an Air Ambulance landing at a nearby school.

Road closures are in place with traffic and buses disrupted and diverted.
