Dartford Crossing partly closed – heavy traffic across much of SE London

The Dartford Crossing has been partly closed helping to add to earlier problems due to a serious accident on the A2.

The A2 Kent-bound has been closed most of the day around Bexley. The latest incident is causing mass congestion around Crayford, Dartford, Bexleyheath and also Greenwich as some drivers divert.

There are currently delays of 45 minutes above the usual travel time on approach to these #M25 #Dartford incidents. Please allow extra time for your journey, should you be travelling in the area.

The severity of congestion mean delays will continue for some hours.
