No opening date for Frankie & Benny’s branches in Bexleyheath & Greenwich

Frankie & Benny owners The Restaurant Group have announced a list of branches that will reopen after branch closures were revealed – and so far Bexleyheath and Greenwich are absent.

The Charlton branch will reopen for click and collect in two days and eating in from 23 July. The Greenwich branch is in the o2.

Around 100 branches have opening dates on a staggered basis up to 20th August.

In February owners The Restaurant Group, who also own Chiquita and Wagamama, announced a reduction in branches from 350 to 260. Since then more branches have been lined up for permanent closure. Up to 3,000 jobs are at risk.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
