Man charged with murder of woman in Greenwich
A 39 year old man has been charged with murder after a woman was stabbed to death at a Greenwich hotel.
The attack occurred on 5th July at Holiday Inn on Bugsby’s Way. The victim has been named as Khloemae Loy. Police tonight revealed Taye Francis, 39 of no fixed address, will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court tomorrow on Monday 20 July.
Videos on social media show the suspect on the outside of the hotel hanging onto a window frame before he falls around four floors. He was taken to hospital and placed under armed guard.
The Met Police website states:
“Police were called to the Holiday Inn on Bugsby’s Way, SE10 at 10:02hrs on Sunday, 5 July, to a report of a woman stabbed.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and a woman was found suffering serious injuries. She was declared dead at the scene. She has been named as 23-year-old Khloemae Loy.”
