I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

  • Nice to see from the council. Off topic but doesn’t the new council building look an eyesore in that photograph? No civic pride from Greenwich Council. Is it any wonder so many businesses don’t care in the area? The authority doesn’t lead from the front and I’m sure it costs more in the long run.

They have the tools to keep it clean and it wouldn’t even cost money for a lot of it! Get the jet wash out they bought recently. The building is filthy, signs and poles bent and tape holding stonework on. It’s just a mess really when not even 10 years old.

  • It is good news to see that Children in the Borough were offered a free meal. I hope the free meals will continued to be provided for schools in the Borough for children.

This will be a great help to parents as many who work are on low incomes too.
