Abbey Wood Lidl closed after serious assault

Customers have been evacuated from Lidl in Abbey Wood tonight after a serious assault in store.

One man has been injured and a number of police and paramedics are on scene.

Customers were told to leave via the rear of the store as emergency services arrived. Investigations are underway.

Witnesses can contact police by calling 101 and questing CAD 5239/11JAN

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

  • I’m not surprised. Lidl customers are a rough lot with the lowest incidence of mask compliance and social distancing. I know because I shop in any of the three local branches every week.
