Bexleyheath pub The Rose up for sale

A popular Bexleyheath pub is up for sale at £950,000.

The Broadway pub has long been a local favourite, and continued to offer food takeaways during lockdown.

The original building was destroyed in World War 2 with a replacement built after. For some years the head of the bomb was located to the right of the pub entrance. Not the original of course as there wouldn’t be much left, but a defused bomb nearby.

If it does sell, hopefully any new owner retains pub usage given the attractive landmark building was popular before the pandemic.
