London Bridge station closed due to security alert

Trains are not stopping at London Bridge and the station has been evacuated after a security alert.

The incident begun just after 12:30pm with rail companies stating emergency services are dealing with an incident.

It’s believed a suspicious item was discovered on a train at 12:33pm.

Southern, Thameslink and Southeastern are affected.

People have been stuck on trains outside the station, with some reports of passengers being led off trains along the track.

UPDATE: Some good news as trains are now able to pass on certain lines. I notice papers like the Express immediately went into ridiculously over-the-top mode screaming this and that. Permitting through trains will hopefully see things back to normal soon.
