Dartford tunnel closed – heavy traffic across area
One of the Dartford tunnels has been closed this afternoon (Friday 7th May) after an accident.
Highways England state delays of over an hour as we approach rush hour.
Following this incident on the #A282 #DartfordCrossing west tunnel, there are currently delays of 65 minutes above normal journey times and 7.7 miles of congestion. For more information please follow this link https://t.co/zTl7YDsAh1

The closure of the west tunnel sees queues back to Chelsfield while Dartford town centre is clogged and the A2 is seeing miles of queues Kent-bound.
