Four arrests after Greenwich stabbing victim dies

A man stabbed in Greenwich last week in a fight captured on numerous videos has died in hospital. Four people have been arrested.

The fight involving machetes took place in daylight with numerous bystanders and witnesses evident in a busy part of Greenwich Peninsula at Barge Walk.

It was the third stabbing in the same area in 10 months. Police put on enhanced patrols following the murder.

The victim has been named as 35-year-old Nathaniel Ago.

Police state four me, aged between 17 and 43-years-old have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

They are:

  • A 17-year-old male
  • 22-year-old man
  • 25-year-old man

All were arrested on Tuesday, 8 June.

A 43-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of today -the 9th June.

They have been taken into custody at police stations in south London.
