Watch: Demolition underway for Lewisham development at Axion House

Demolition is now ongoing to bring down Axion House for a new housing development in Lewisham

Demolition group Downwell have uploaded a video showing work:

The site will see 141 homes on a site sandwiched between two railway lines:

The plot is located to the south of Lewisham town centre:

A large number of developments are also underway around Lewisham, including Lewisham Exchange tower:

Lewisham Gateway Phase 2 is rising including a tower, shops and a cinema:

Then there’s a tower and mid rise blocks at Tesco’s former car park:

All development are now in various stages of progress, with piling now underway for Meyer Homes’ tower.

Work is also progressing at the final blocks at Lethbridge and Heathside estates north of Lewisham station:

443 homes are located there.

  • Just looked at the present site from above and it seems isolated. 🤔 I hope the new development will be different.
