A major fire has broken out around Elephant and Castle station this afternoon around 1:45pm.
The blaze appears to be around the Thameslink station with smoke emanating from arches just to the north of the station.
At one stage a major explosion saw a huge fireball emerge from below the tracks towards a newly built block of flats on Elephant Road.
It appears the fire emanates from one of these arches, which includes car repair centres:
All rail services are suspended which is causing mass disruption on Thameslink.
