Westfield Stratford evacuated after small fire

Workers and shoppers have been evacuated today after a small fire broke out at a shop in Westfield Stratford.

London Fire Brigade state that eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to the fire at 1003 and the fire was under control by 1144.

The 60 firefighters attended from from Stratford, Leytonstone, Leyton, Plaistow stations.

There are no injuries.

Buses could be subject to delay due to a large number of emergency service vehicles around the bus station.
