Power problem cripple Southeastern services

There are a wide number of cancellations on Southeastern Metro services this morning due to problems at Grove Park depot.

The incident is impacting many routes including all three Dartford lines.

According to Southeastern:

“As an empty train was leaving the depot, the power tripped between the track and the train.

It has been reported that the “shoegear” on the train has been damaged.

The shoegear is the piece of the equipment that allows power to be drawn from the third rail and powers the train.

Most lines out of the depot are blocked due to position of the train.”

Disruption is expected throughout much of the morning.

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks
